Buckwheat is a grain like seed that is gluten free, high in protein and fibre. It supports the heart and heart health and can also help prevent diabetes due to its low glycemic index. Buckwheat has also been shown to have cholesterol-lowering effects, anti-hypertension effects and improving digestion by relieving constipation.

Tip: Soak buckwheat groats for up to 6 hours before using in your porridge or baking.
